Monday

edumacation.

I enjoy new things sometimes. I am comfortable with change some days. These days I am welcoming it and embracing it and all that garbage. I like new faces, (mostly the boy ones) new halls, new opportunities. Fresh books, inky pens, stories. I most love my media writing class and most hate my stats class - go figure. (Seriously? Null? Alpha? What?) I think I have at least one cutie patootie boysie in each class. I like my professors. I ride my bike to school and use the shuttle and meet funny asians. And people of other origin. I like that I have the chance to get involved in all the things I love- animal allies club, free lectures from cool people, leadership and service opportunities. Being a college student really is enjoyable. I have two years left according to my degree evaluation. Well.. that's without my biology minor. S'we'll see. Did you get that? That was so we'll see. S'we'll. It looks slightly hawaiian.
Moving right along.

love after love

The time will come when, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other's welcome,
and say
sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger
who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread.
Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life...

Take down the love
letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs,
the desperate notes, peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit.
Feast on your life.
