Wednesday

Sun, please.

I am loving this weather but hating the bugs that come with it. Massive (like 4 inch) Mosquitos live in our backyard and fly up your legs whenever you walk on the grass. And then there's the wasps. The ones living in our shed and mailbox. The ones that chased us back inside this morning on our walk. Oh nature- cant you give me bugless outdoors! I am a bit of a priss I think.
Gin and I spent some time at the park last night but other than that we have stayed indoors where the bugs can't get us. I also finished pottermore in 2 days, which is another reason we have stayed in. But I keep looking out our open, sunny windows and wanting to just be out there. Maybe I could make a wearable net that covers my entire body. Maybe I could just find a place low on bugs. I think the beach is like that!
It's settled.

love after love

The time will come when, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other's welcome,
and say
sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger
who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread.
Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life...

Take down the love
letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs,
the desperate notes, peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit.
Feast on your life.
