Friday

A jaunt.

Lately, I've been really busy. I mean really pretty busy. It's mostly because my Seth is now home and we spend every waking minute not at work together, which makes it hard to find time to shower, do my laundry, start my summer online classes, update my blog and etc.
However, I think that because it's only our second week together since that horrible month we were apart, we're probably just a bit in overdrive and it should settle into more of a routine.
Also, we ran into a bit of bad luck and by that mean quite a bit when his car broke in Sacramento before we drove home. After I flew out. =both of us basically stranded in Sacramento, rather large rental car fee and sharing my car for the last two weeks.
Great news is that his car is under a full 12 month warranty and they're replacing the engine. So that should be settled next week, (crossing fingers.)
But one great thing we got out of Sacramento other than me flying (which I love) and kissing in the airport like in the movies, was that we got to spend a day in San Francisco together! I love that city.
I was smart enough to bring my Holga and he was patient enough to wait for me to load the film and we took it all around the city that day. Holga came with us through the warf, to the beach, through windy, tall tree-ed streets, and of course to bubba gumps shrimp house. And I will brag those photos all over this blog if they turn out fantastic like they should. :]

Thanks for reading my ramblings!
We're so happy to be together again.
We're so blessed that Seth was able to find a good paying job here.
We're so fortunate to be able to get married in the temple in just over three months. (and that's coming together nicely as well, I plan to post about our plans soon.)

I'm going to continue our story next post and then I'll update with some wedding stuff. xo.

love after love

The time will come when, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other's welcome,
and say
sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger
who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread.
Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life...

Take down the love
letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs,
the desperate notes, peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit.
Feast on your life.
