i love him

and i love lying next to him. he smells good and his laugh makes me fuzzy inside.
i haven't really been writing lately, mostly because he leaves in 9 days and i used to blog during the mornings at work. i'm pretty much terribly sad about the summer apart, but we'll be married in four months and then it will be worth it.
i'm going to try my best to stay chipper while he's gone.. especially because it's my favorite time of year and there just isn't any point in wasting time when you can be living.
we spent the last few days in kanab and cedar city, covering many miles of land looking for dropped deer horns. turns out i'm rather good at it, so far we're tied in our searching and gathering. it was warm and wide open and just what we needed. only his poor little head is maybe a little burnt.
