homemade oreos for you

follow this recipe if you like happiness.

you shall need 

1 package of chocolate devil's food cake mix

2 eggs ~ cage free taste best and are kind~

1/2 cup of vegetable oil

1 stick of butter, softened

8 oz of cream cheese, softened

3/4 cups of powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

you will

heat the oven to 350 degrees

mix up the cake mix, eggs and oil until it's completely moist and sticky

roll the dough into balls slightly larger than a quarter

place them on a greased cookie sheet

bake for 8 minutes ~ check at 6 minutes, you want to take them out before they're done

[they'll continue to cook on the pan after you take them out to cool

trust me, take them out when they're still a little dough ...ey]

while they're cooling

cream the butter

add the cream cheese

mix well!

add the powdered sugar slowly until you reach your favorite consistensy

add the vanilla extract

if you have a kitchenaid it works best, however i used my blender and my boyfriend

now

take the frosting and however you desire to, 

fill up those cookies!
