want to know one of my very favorite things?

something that stills the moving world around me

and breaks the mundane numb?

 birds in flight.
no matter what i'm doing, when i see the pristine chaos
of their arching wings and lofty spirits
i am struck
by the immense possibility that lay before them
and do they even know?
