Monday

Go on and take a bow.

Madie and I spent Friday night at the ballet watching a few hours of contemporary dance called The Other Side of the Door. I couldn't help but think that I was made to be a dancer and that I failed to take the opportunity. And of course I feel like it's too late- the shelf life of a dancer is rather short.

Before the show we went to dinner at our favorite spot, Gingers.
We cannot get enough of the Pita Pizza! I rave.

If you are ever in Springville Utah you must go. They do have something for everyone! They do!
And as Nie once said- if you love your body you will feed it good things. That is not an exact quote, so something like that at least.

I sure hope you also had a great weekend. Toodle-oo!

love after love

The time will come when, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other's welcome,
and say
sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger
who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread.
Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life...

Take down the love
letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs,
the desperate notes, peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit.
Feast on your life.
