Friday

I didn't intend for this.

It is 1:22am. I am awake.
Right now, I am thinking... is it worth it to get 4 hours of sleep? It will be harder to wake up rather than to never go to sleep.
I'm not even tired yet!
[I've only yawned once. Ok now twice because I was thinking about it.]
I have plenty to do--
pack
study for philosophy test
finish history report

oh the life of a single college student.

now I am planning ways to keep myself awake until roughly 5 am.
soda
music
lights

and since I am the rounder that I am..
I figure I have a good three hours to do what I need to.
three hours really isn't that many.

so the real question is, can I make it through my day tomorrow on no sleep?
5:30-11:30 work
12-1: philosophy
1-2: nothing
2-3: history
3-5: nothing
5ish: leave for Cedar City

yeah, I should be fine. I can sleep when I'm dead.

love after love

The time will come when, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other's welcome,
and say
sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger
who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread.
Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life...

Take down the love
letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs,
the desperate notes, peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit.
Feast on your life.
