Saturday

In the summer time

We have been outside so often lately. I really can't imagine anything better! I love nights at the ball park, ice cream truck runs, late starry nights, parkie afternoons, long days hiking through storied trees, and also days spent inside recovering under fans and the ac. I am continually sun burnt and sore.. just as it should be.
I've spent the last few days with my sister while the rest of the family was at girls camp. We watched scary movies and ate a lot of yummy food. Indian food delivery, artichoke pizza and sweet tooth? Yes please! Seth and i actually spent the night in shay's bed last night and it was so much more comfy than ours. I havent had this much time with Rambo in months I think- we have become a little attached again and I even cried the other day cause I missed him.
Of course, I'm also slightly hormonal as I've just finished my progesterone and will start clomid any day now! I am so wishful and hopeful that we will get pregnant this first time around. Its also not so fun being so over sensitive. Seth has done a good job at being extra patient! I really appreciate that. I'm glad it's Saturday because that means when he gets off we will have all night and all day tomorrow together. This working Saturdays is lame. But we are grateful for his job! So no complaining. Actually, his benefits kick in on my birthday next month. I am so excited about that!
I feel so rambly right now and could go on for some time I think. But now it's time to go play!

love after love

The time will come when, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other's welcome,
and say
sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger
who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread.
Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life...

Take down the love
letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs,
the desperate notes, peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit.
Feast on your life.
