Easter!

Just a little glimpse of our Easter this year. We spent Saturday with Seth's family down in the desert. We climbed rocks, road four wheelers, had a fire and all the yummy camping food we could handle. It was hot and bright and so fun-- though we came home with sunburns. On Sunday, we were with my family and had a nice meal- the traditional ham and cheesy potatoes- and then jumped on the tramp and ate pie. The girls slept over at our house (in our new guest bed! Ha ha) and we played cranium and watched hop. It was a good day! I love being with my sisters and I had so much fun with Seth's family too.
I've spent today reading Nie's book, heaven is here. So that on top of my period which finally made an appearance- has left me in quite the emotional state. I will write more in depth about some of my thoughts later. I'm just really grateful for my healthy body and life here on this beautiful earth, and for my loved ones.

love after love

The time will come when, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other's welcome,
and say
sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger
who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread.
Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life...

Take down the love
letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs,
the desperate notes, peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit.
Feast on your life.
