puppy love

we have been so puppy hungry lately!

i mean, i am going through a major baby hungry phase
[please be a phase please be a phase]
so that might be contributing to the puppy hungriness..
but nevertheless.
we have been scowering petfinder.com, and stopping at shelters, and researching our options.
we need a small dog, since he/she will be inside most of the time in our little apartment.
we had a big plan to move to florida for the summer, so we were waiting until august to be serious about this, but that has changed!
no more florida. :( [another post, another day]
so we have amped up our looking.
we think we'll start out fostering, and see how that goes.
a puppy means an increase in our monthly rent, a training period [chewing and potty training yuck] and needing a puppysistter sometimes.
but how can you say no to little loves like this!?
we can't.
