Thursday

on the home front

with hubby off at work, there hasn't been much action on the home front.
{i suppose i mean that both ways.} {snicker}

i've been busying myself with laundry, dishes and the like. we haven't had dirty clothes piled up one time this week. it's kind of nice!

however, without a car and the weather being so icy as it is, i've been feeling a little cooped up in this sparkling clean house.

i decided to tackle some projects today:

-make earrings
{bought the stone at the bead fairy and used my magic hands for the rest}

-finish my harry colorings and hang them up along with the poster
{for this i bought dorm tape- check it out. it rocks.}
-and clean out the bathroom cupboard- yikes!

as you can see i have a LOT to do, and i love lucy just came on.

feel free to stop by for a visit..my carpets are sure to be freshly vacuumed and i still have indian food leftovers. AND i've just decided tomorrow shall be i love lucy marathon + making homemade valentines day.

oh, and this:
*clean out the fridge day. that's oatmeal.

I might stop by after you've cleaned out the fridge.

love after love

The time will come when, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other's welcome,
and say
sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger
who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread.
Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life...

Take down the love
letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs,
the desperate notes, peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit.
Feast on your life.
