running running
While my husband makes dinner and puts away the laundry, (I know right) I'm going to finally get out my typing fingers. Now that I am no longer employed (story to come) I am going to play a game of catch up here on the blog. I would like to get back to really using this space to document my life in all of it's glory.
I'm going to post a picture along with each little tale from the past few months.. starting with San Francisco. I don't know if you remember those horrible weeks seth had to spend there away from me.. (boo) I certainly do! And if you remember, I ended up flying out, scooping him up and bringing back to me. He had to quit his job and spent a few months working for a ssssshhhady website company, selling hosting. He's now back with the alarm company from before, only he does inside sales for them and is much happier. I'm much happier too since we can afford for me to stay home and just blog, clean, do homework, watch all my shows online, go shopping, and get dinner on the table!
[post edit: I'll be working extremely part time at modern display for the holidays. I interviewed for it because I'm only in 2 classes right now and I don't want to feel like a lazy bum. I was disappointed when I got it! But it will be good, and I can take 6 classes next semester and not be a member of the work force at all.. mm.]
So here are the holgas from SF! I love the way they turned out. The girl at the photo counter grimaced and said that I must not have wound all the way to each frame. I explained that I meant to do that. I overlapped a lot of the pictures straight across, and almost all of them have side overlappings as well. I love the way they turned out- It really conveys that trip to me. The emotions, the sights, etc. Let me know what you think! Too much for your taste? I might end up doing this on all of my holgas. They seem so much more real to me.
I"m too lazy right now to rotate them. These were all taken at the wharf. It was such a nice day and the first time that Seth had ever been to the beach and touched the water. It was cold. We had so much fun after not seeing each other for two weeks. We cuddled and ate and shopped and cuddled some more. We may have dined and dashed at a restaurant I will not name- but it really was an accident. I'll never forget running along the pier in panic and laughter, with all those lights and people, music and the smell of all kinds of food. That will always be a vivid memory for me. We had a blast roadtripping it back to utah, even though we had to rent a car and leave bo in sacramento since he was sick. That was not inexpensive. We drove in one day and got back so late, and then he was home and I was content at last.
Next I'm just going to throw in a bunch of pictures from the summer-
nights at coneys
trying on my dress at my first fitting.
long weekends at grandpa's cabin
a night in sparkly park city
naps with pup [who's secret favorite is seth, i know it.]
a few too many trips to the chocolate..
wedding invitation suite day rocked!
new wedding ring day rocked as well.
and wedding day was obviously unreal and amazing.
in fact, my next post will be dedicated to the that day entirely.
then I'll update from there until here.
seth: do your homework.
karlee: thanks for dinner.
