keep to the sunlight

i have been utterly overwhelmed lately.
the prospect of the boy i love and i being apart for three months nearly brings me to my knees.
my work situation has been out of control and leaves me uneasy.
i've learned some friends aren't very friendly.
i have always been and will always be a slacker in school.
i'm just so tired.

however
i get to spend the warm sunny summer with my family and my pup.
i get to fly out to see the boy i love on my birthday.
we will be married on august 20th in the temple and i can have him forever ever.
i will hopefully get a new job which would cure my tiredness, my slacking at school (to some extent) and might bring me a new friend or two.

i'm so grateful for the sweeties in my life
aka
the boy i love
my family
the two amazing women i work with
the girls in relief society who have been so kind
friends who have kept in touch and who lend their constant support
and this sunshiney day

thanks.

love after love

The time will come when, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other's welcome,
and say
sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger
who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread.
Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life...

Take down the love
letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs,
the desperate notes, peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit.
Feast on your life.
