Monday

TWIP week dos (..a few days late)

Just pretend it's Friday.
I mean I know it's Monday, so that kinda sucks to have to pretend that. I don't know, maybe it's a good thing. I digress.

The church I drive past daily from home to work and work to school or if I'm lucky work to home.
I love the trees next to it. The lighting was really perfect the day I took this, and it caught my eye.
There is nothing there but a fenced off square of grass and trees to the right.
I don't even think there are benches and I like it. I've been to this church many times for orchestra performances, it's the old tabernacle.

An afternoon spent at the park with Brinlee and mom, below.

She is beautiful.

And last but obviously not least (cause it's food and that's important) Grandpa's homemade lumpy tomato soup. So good I wish I could blog you all a bowl. Perhaps I will try.

That's it for last week's TWIP!
Glad you could make it.

NESS!!! Her is pretty girl.

love after love

The time will come when, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other's welcome,
and say
sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger
who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread.
Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life...

Take down the love
letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs,
the desperate notes, peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit.
Feast on your life.

~Derek Walcott
