Thursday

Time after time.

I find myself looking at the clock a lot this week. All during work, waiting for doctor appointments, driving more than ten miles in any direction.
I think it's interesting to ponder the concept of time. Man made?
What about time when we get to heaven? Eternity?

And how different is childhood time than adult time?

Anyways.
Here are a few cute clocks I found over at studio k on etsy.

They are so summery!

She makes them out of old records. Fascinating, the things people think of. She makes plenty of other colorful, sunny things. I love all of her stuff in fact. This is why I don't etsy it very much anymore.. I don't need anymore time taker-upers.

love after love

The time will come when, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other's welcome,
and say
sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger
who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread.
Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life...

Take down the love
letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs,
the desperate notes, peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit.
Feast on your life.
