unsuspecting

i took these photos out in our backyard the other day. these orange flowers/(weeds?) bloomed out of nowhere! not sure what they are. but i love them. they remind me a lot of hawaii. oh hawaii. they shot up right along the barbed wire fence and have been dancing resolutely in the wind for a week or so.
i think i'll cut some and give them to myself as a little birthday bouquet.
